I’ve been happily growing dreads now for 4 fun filled years and absolutely love my hair!  Its been a long time coming!  I’ve gone through many hair transformations in my life and for the first time feel truly like myself.  Like many black girls I have had a love/hate relationship with my hair for as long as I can remember.  When I was a nappy headed little girl and mum used to try to get a comb through it I have struggled with my own hair love.  Living in Canada, there wasn’t many great hair role models.  Finally, I feel like I’ve come into my own.  So now, with my four years of length, I’m having fun experimenting with different styles and am beyond excited with all of the images on film, tv and Internet of beautiful powerful black women and men rocking their own creative styles.  My intention is to share some great styles and looks with you all so you can be as inspired as me and leave the house (or stay in ) with some great looks!
